4 Camping Etiquette Tips
Tip 1: Before you even arrive at your camping site, it is important to know the rules. Know what you can and cannot do. I recommend looking up the rules and regulations of your park ahead of time because they may vary between each location.
Tip 2: Try to refrain from burning your trash in the fire. Many household items such as paper, newspaper, plastic; have a tendency to cause a lot of smoke. Not only do they cause more smoke but they also cause pollution which may be upsetting to the campers around you and is definitely upsetting to the environment.
Tip 3: Remember to put your fire out. Putting out your fire is something that can be easily forgotten. Most fires will just burn on their own for a while and gradually decrease in size but this is not always the case. Failing to put out a fire could cause a hazard to other campers and even the entire campsite, so don’t forget to put it out!
Tip 4: Keep your site clean. Be courteous and remember that people will probably be camping after you have left. Bring trash bags and find a place to dispose of your trash properly.
Follow these camping etiquette tips and have a great next trip!
